About this spot
Established as “Københavnerplantage” on former heathland, partly on the old heath plain and partly up on Hejnsvig Bakkeø. Many forest roads and a number of trails lead around the plantation. Here there is an enclosed dog park, a campfire hut with shelters (requires special booking), a marked mountain bike route, and a health trail with a series of challenging activities. Grene Sande constitutes a very special natural area with large inland dunes, several of which have dune breaks. Designated as a free camping forest.
