Campfire house with a grill in the center and built-in shelter spaces. Space for 25 sleeping guests. Tables and benches under cover. Access to a composting toilet – bring your own toilet paper and hand sanitizer. Bring your own wood for the fire if you want to ensure dry wood. It is also permitted to gather wood from the forest floor. The campfire house/shelter must be booked via Naturstyrelsen’s website: www.nst.dk or by clicking on “Book lejrplads” under Gyttegård Shelterplads. If no one has booked the spot, it is available to anyone who wishes to settle down for a shorter or longer period – perhaps just for a short break around the campfire or for an overnight stay.
