Shelterpladsen ved Kjællinghøl

The site has three shelters - two for approx. 10 people and one for approx. 3. There is a campfire site, tables, and benches. It is a lovely natural area where a replica of a longhouse from the 7th century was built in 2002. Kjællinghøl is an ideal place for reflection and overnight stays. It is free for Viborg Kommune’s municipal schools and institutions to use the shelter site. The shelters must be booked here: Forside - Book en shelter. Toilets: Access to toilets is available during the summer season. Showers: There are no shower facilities. Firewood: Can be gathered from the forest floor. Water: Access to water is available during the summer season.
