Tønballe Shelterplads

Shelter site in Tønballe Skov, close to the nature center. The site has 3 shelters, each with space for 6-8 people. There is a shared barbecue and campfire site. If you want to be sure of dry wood, you must bring it yourself, but it is otherwise permitted to gather wood from the forest floor for use at the campfire site. The shelter site is reserved for larger groups in connection with special types of events, such as school, sports, or scout events, camps based on a given religious belief, etc. (minimum 15 people) and must be booked directly via the ”Book here” button or via Naturstyrelsen’s booking system. Note that your booking will be cancelled if you have not arrived at the site by 8:00 PM. However, if no one has booked the spot, it is available to anyone who wishes to stay for a shorter or longer period.
