Koutrup Skov Shelter 2

Shelter site with 2 shelters, located 200 m south of Naturcenter Koutrupgård, adjacent to Koutrup Skov. The site is equipped with a fire pit and grill for each shelter. Access to a water tap. If you want to ensure dry wood, you must bring your own, but it is otherwise permitted to gather wood from the forest floor for use at the fire pit. Access to public toilets at Koutrupgård (entrance on the east side). Furthermore, there is space to set up a small horse paddock. Shelter 2 can be booked directly via the “Book here” button or via Naturstyrelsen’s booking system. Please note that your booking will be cancelled if you have not arrived at the site by 8:00 PM at the latest. However, if no one has booked the spot, it is available to anyone who wishes to settle down for a shorter or longer period – perhaps just for a brief rest around the fire pit or for an overnight stay. The shelter site is located 200 m from Hærvejen, 1 km from Gudenåen and Skjernåen Springs, and 2 km from Rørbæk Sø and Tinnet Krat.
