Bålhytte nær Skodsborg Station

On the edge of Jægersborg Hegn near Skodsborgvej, there is a large campfire hut, which is well-suited as a setting for children’s birthdays and other activities. The address is Skodsborgvej 400, 2942 Skodsborg. The campfire hut is used on weekdays by Copenhagen schools that have moved their teaching outdoors. The former forester’s residence next door is used by an outdoor kindergarten from Københavns Kommune. It is permitted to use the campfire hut when there are no school classes. Firewood for use in the fire pit may be collected from the forest floor. There is no toilet! Drinking water is available from a tap on the outside of the shed building by the forester’s residence during the summer half of the year.
