About this spot
The shelter site is suitable for canoe and kayak paddlers coming via Mølleåen, but everyone is welcome to use it. In addition to the shelter, there are bonfire sites with grills, a water tap with drinking water, and a primitive toilet. Bring toilet paper and wet wipes. The water tap is open April-Oct. Directions: Entrance from Strandvejen via Strandmøllevej. Follow the road 200 m under the coastal railway and further north to the parking lot. Optionally, use a handcart or similar for luggage. You can book priority for an overnight stay in the shelter. You can have a maximum of two consecutive overnight stays in the shelter. Only the shelter is booked. Others may simultaneously use the facilities and pitch tents at the site. Booking can be made no earlier than 3 months before the overnight stay. When booking, you must occupy the shelter before 8 PM, otherwise, your priority will be forfeited. You can pitch individual supplementary tents by the shelter. You will typically be able to gather some firewood around the site, but if you want to be sure of dry firewood, you should bring your own dry firewood or charcoal. Spare the living trees. Motorized vehicle access to the site is not permitted, and permission for this cannot be applied for. Leave the site as you would wish to find it. Follow the instructions on the information sign at the campsite. The campsite was kindly built with support from the company Friluftsland. https://www.friluftsland.dk/blog/guide-oversigt-overnatning-i-shelter-i-danmark/
