Campsite Viben is located in the southern part of Pinseskoven on Kalvebod Fælled near Hejresøen. The site features a large shelter, a campfire site with a grill, and several picnic tables. There is a water tap on Vibevej. The water tap is open during the summer months. There is a composting toilet west of the campsite. Bring your own toilet paper and possibly hand sanitizer. The campsite is wheelchair accessible and is approximately 500 meters from the parking lot at Frieslandsvej along an asphalted and gravel path. The campsite is intended for larger organized groups, such as associations, schools, and institutions. The site can be booked for overnight stays, however, for a maximum of 4 nights. Bookings can be made no earlier than one year before the stay. With a booking, you must occupy the campsite before 8 PM, otherwise your priority right will lapse. If the site is not booked, it can be used during daytime hours on a first-come, first-served basis. You will typically be able to gather some firewood around the site, but if you want to be sure of dry wood, you should bring your own dry firewood or charcoal. Spare living trees. Firewood can possibly be bought at Friluftshuset www.naturcenteramager.dk. Motorized vehicles are not allowed onto the site, and permits for this cannot be applied for. There is no waste container. Therefore, bring garbage bags to take your own waste with you. Leave the site as you would wish to find it. Follow instructions on the info sign at the campsite.
