The shelter must be booked. The site consists of a smaller shelter and a fire pit with a bench. It is permitted to pitch a tent (max. 3 persons) in immediate proximity to the shelter, max. 10 meters away. You must bring your own water and firewood. However, it is permitted to collect dead branches from the forest floor, but trees must not be felled. Remember to take your trash with you and extinguish the fire before leaving the site. Directions by car: The parking lot on Gillelejevej opposite Skovskolen (Nødebovej 77 3480) is less than approx. 1.6 km away from the shelter. Driving by car in the forest is not permitted, but the forest roads are suitable for cyclists and pedestrians. Directions by public transport: You can also get off the bus at Skovskolen in Nødebo and walk along Esrum sø. A trip of approx. 1.6 km.
