About this spot
Fire pit located at the Birkelunden campsite in the western part of the plantation, bordering Plantagevej. Here there is also drinking water (in summer), picnic tables, a composting toilet, and a shelter. Parking at the corner by Plantagevej. Efforts are made to provide firewood, but it cannot be guaranteed. Use firewood thoughtfully so there is enough for the next person. Extinguish the fire thoroughly after use. Help keep the site neat and clean and always take your waste with you. The campsite may be booked by organized groups, who then have first priority for the fire pit.
