Gulspurven shelter

The primitive overnight site consists of 1 mini-shelter with a fire pit and a small bench. It is possible to pitch a couple of smaller tents within 20 meters of the shelter. The shelter accommodates 2-3 overnight guests. You must bring your own water and firewood. It is permitted to collect branches from the forest floor for firewood, but trees must not be felled. The shelter site must be left tidy, and all waste must be taken out of the forest. Remember to extinguish the fire before leaving the shelter site. The shelter can be found using the GPS coordinates, as it is not marked from the gravel road in the forest. GPS coordinates: 55.96319, 12.0596 If taking public transport, you can take a bus to Kregme (Hillerødvej) or Sportsvej (Hillerødvej), from where there is a 3 to 4-kilometer hike. If arriving by car, you can park close to the shelter, in the forest parking lot located on Sonnerupvej, from where there is a 200 to 300-meter walk.
