Shelterpladsen i Alken

At Fællespladsen in Alken, there are three shelters and a barbecue hut. Fællespladsen is located within the village of Alken. This means that Fællespladsen has many close neighbors and is used by the town’s children and other residents for play and social activities during both day and evening hours. Outdoor guests are welcome to stay overnight in the three shelters at Fællespladsen, but tents are not allowed on the common area. Facilities: At Fællespladsen, there is access to a toilet and cold water. There is also firewood in a shed close to the toilet. Please note that fires may only be lit at the designated campfire site by the three shelters. Fires are not permitted inside the barbecue hut. One of the three shelters is equipped with a lift, making it accessible for people with disabilities. Payment: An overnight stay costs DKK 50 per person. Children under six years old stay for free. Payment for overnight stays must be made upon arrival at the site. Payment is made via MobilePay to Alken Borger- og Aktivitetsforening at 55824. For members of Alken Borger- og Aktivitetsforening, an overnight stay costs DKK 20 per night. Cars and parking: Cars are not permitted onto Fællespladsen. Cars transporting persons with disabilities, such as wheelchair users, are exempt. Parking is not allowed at or on Fællespladsen. The nearest parking lot is at Alken Station. It is approximately 300 meters from Fællespladsen to the station. Rules of order: It is not permitted to pitch tents on Fællespladsen. Overnight guests must remove all waste upon departure. Bins are provided at Fællespladsen. Out of consideration for Fællespladsen’s neighbors, absolute quiet must be observed by 10:00 PM at the latest. Booking: Shelters in Alken cannot be booked.
