About this spot
The rules for free camping can also be found at “http://www.naturstyrelsen.dk”. Only 1 overnight stay per location, a maximum of 2 tents per location, and a maximum of 3-person tents are allowed. Tents must be out of sight from operational and residential buildings, including, for example, neighbours and campsites, as well as roads. The use of open fires is permitted at the designated fire pits in the specified forests. Field kitchens may only be used if a storm stove with an enclosed burner, e.g., Trangia, is used. All necessary precautions regarding fire hazard must be observed, which means, for example, that the storm stove must not be placed on leaves, pine needles, or other flammable material – preferably place the storm stove on a stone or other similar non-flammable material. Please note that the specified forest may be closed for the use of open fires, fire pits, etc., due to drought, in which case the use of a storm stove is also not permitted. Any closure of forests with Free Camping will be indicated on Naturstyrelsen’s website.
