About this spot
The fire pit is in the immediate vicinity of the fire hut. Follow the path at the northern end of the large parking lot by Avnstrupvej (after the kindergarten) to the fire pit, which is located at the edge of the forest. The adjacent shelter area must be booked, but can be used for eating packed lunches if no one else is using it. Read more about the forests in our Nature Guide and in the Tourist Brochure.
