About this spot
The site contains 2 shelters on a green area, where a few supplementary tents can be pitched without prior booking. Located directly by the small Sandvig harbor between Præstø and Kalvehave. Toilet and drinking water are available at the harbor. Bring your own firewood for the campfire. There are two BBQ areas and table/bench sets. The site is located on the Sjællandsleden hiking route. Shelters can be booked. Arrive at the shelter before 8:00 PM, otherwise, the reservation will be canceled. If the shelter is not booked in advance, it may be used freely. The shelter was built with support from A.P. Møller Fonden.
