Larskirkedam

The overnight site is located in an open beech forest by Højlyngsstien. The site is very primitive and is located directly on the forest floor - there are very simple facilities such as a fire pit and a reasonably flat forest floor. The grass is mowed once a year, so long grass can be expected for parts of the year. There is space for 2-3 small tents at the site. Overnight stays are limited to one night at the site. It is permitted to collect dead branches from the forest floor for firewood. Do not break branches off living trees. Remember to extinguish the fire THOROUGHLY after use, so no embers remain - or stay until the fire has completely burned out, to prevent wildfires. The nearest water post is at Flagermusehuset opposite Sigtevej 14, 3760 Gudhjem. The nearest toilet is at the Nordhus shelter site near the address Mortingevej 6, 3760 Gudhjem. If you come by car, you can park at the parking lot by Borgedalssøen. Driving cars on the gravel roads in the forest is not permitted. Coordinates: 55.181984, 14.899957.
