The fire shelter belongs to Aarhus Kommune and is booked via Book Naturen. The fire shelter is located at the edge of Havreballe skov, close to Kongevejen with a view of Kalvehaven. The fire shelter is ideal for school activities and forest excursions where one wants the option of shelter under a roof. The open grassy area Kalvehaven is ideal for play and activities requiring space or football games on the two goalposts. If you are hosting an event with more than approx. 50 participants, you may also consider booking the fire pit located in Havreballe skov. Practical information: • Note: You are exclusively booking the fire shelter • Bring your own firewood • It is permitted to collect dry branches from the forest floor. Directions: Parking spaces can be found along Skovbrynet and at Tangkrogen, among other places. The site is located by Kongevejen. If you come by bus, routes 16 and 18 go there.
