Shelter1 can be reserved. Additionally, the site is for free use, and those using the site must make room for others who arrive as long as there is space. Fanø Plantage is also entirely designated as an area with “Fri teltning” (Free tenting). This means that if you comply with certain rules regarding overnight stays, you may pitch your tent and stay overnight without further permission. Read the conditions on Naturstyrelsen’s website - look for “Fri teltning”. Access to the site is from the parking lot at the end of Fuglekøjevejen. Number of pitches: 30 Number of shelters: 3 REMEMBER: Shelter no. 1 can be reserved. There is NO firewood at the site. It must be brought. There is NO water at the site. It can be brought from Naturstyrelsen’s workshop building at the beginning of Albuevejs. There are NO waste bins at the site. It is expected that you handle your own waste.
