The overnight site is very primitive and is located directly on the forest floor - there are very simple facilities such as a fire pit and a reasonably flat forest floor. The grass is mowed once a year, so you should expect long grass for parts of the year. There is room for 1-2 small tents at the site. You may stay overnight for one night at the site. It is permitted to collect dead branches from the forest floor for firewood. Do not break branches off living trees. Remember to extinguish the fire THOROUGHLY after use, so that no embers remain - or stay until the fire has burned out completely, to prevent a wildfire. The nearest water tap is at Christian X’s Vej 2, 3720 Aakirkeby, approx. 2.3 km away. There are no toilets within reasonable walking distance. If you arrive by car, you can park in the parking lot on Christian X’s Vej in Bisonskoven; from there, it is 2 km to the tent site.
