Mikkels Hus

The site is located in the southern part of the plantation, approx. 300 m north of Aalborgvej. The site can be accessed on foot or by bicycle. A parking lot is located approx. 100 m from the shelter. Facilities at the site: fire pit with grill grate, compost toilet, and water. At the site, there is 1 shelter with space for 7 people. This shelter can be booked and is equipped with a booking sign. The shelter can be booked up to 3 months in advance. It is possible to pitch tents at the site, and there is space for approx. 15 people for tenting. The booking provides priority for the shelter, while the rest of the site and other facilities must be shared with other users. Individuals can use the shelter if it is not booked. If the booking is not utilized by 8 PM, the campsite can be freely used on a “first-come, first-served” basis. The shelter was built with support from A.P. Møller Fonden.
