Vest Stadil Fjord, Fugleskjul

Drive along road 181 and turn onto Skelmosevej, which you follow for approx. 2 km. In the middle of the large nature restoration project Vest Stadil Fjord, there is a parking lot with a picnic table set. Follow the sign “udkigstårnet 500 m” (viewing tower 500 m); here you will find a small black wooden house with a thatched roof, a bird hide with a table and benches, and hatches at various heights offering a fantastic view of the Fjord’s birdlife. 700 m further away, you will find another parking lot. The spot is located by Bjerg Thomsens Jagthytte. On one side of the road is Bjerg Thomsens Jagthytte, where you can find information about birdlife and visit the Jagthytte. On the opposite side of the road, you will find covered information boards, an accessible toilet, 2 picnic table sets, and a barbecue area.
