Kongsøre Skov, Isefjordsstien

Isefjordspladsen in Kongsøre Skov is located close to Isefjordsstien and right by Isefjorden. The site is sheltered yet close to the water. Only a couple of hundred meters north of Sandskredet, which is a popular swimming area where camping is not permitted. There is a toilet at the parking lot. The toilet and tap are open from approximately May 1st to mid-October. The site cannot be booked; it is available for free use on a first come, first served basis. From Hølkerup, drive south out of town to Kongsøre Skov. Continue through the forest to the fjord. Follow the signs to the site, which is a couple of hundred meters north of Sandskredet. The site itself is marked with a row of stones. Tents must not be pitched outside this marking. Bring your own firewood/charcoal.
