Kær Vestermark

Visit the unique Sønderborg shelters created in connection with Spejdernes Lejr 2017, located 20 meters from the coast. The site can be reached by boat; it is marked with a sign on the shoreline with the text “overnight stay”. Toilet and drinking water can be found by the landmark and lunch house for Kær Vestermark - “Støvlen”, approx. 300 meters east. The site has 2 campfire sites. Car park at the Landmark for Kær Vestermark - Støvlen. The shelters are owned by Sønderborg Municipality. There is space for 4 – 5 tents. Address: Kærhalvø Sti 8, 6400 Sønderborg. The shelters are booked on booksonderjylland.dk. At the bottom of the page, you can go directly to the booking by clicking on “link til hjemmeside”. Each shelter costs 75 DKK. It is possible to book one shelter but also all of them.
