Shelter ved Hampen Sø

The shelter is located in Palsgård forest on the south side of Hampen Sø, which is one of the country’s cleanest lakes. At the site, there is a campfire pit and a small hut. You must bring your own water and firewood. It is permitted to collect branches from the forest floor for firewood, but trees must not be felled. The shelter site must be left tidy, and all waste must be taken out of the forest. Remember to extinguish the fire before leaving the shelter site. Fishing is not permitted in Hampen Sø for anyone other than the landowners. Swimming is only allowed from the beaches at the west end and northwest corner of the lake. Directions: The shelter site can be found by following “Søvej” from the parking lot between Nr. Snede and Viborg at the lake’s west end, south around the lake for approx. 300 meters.
