About this spot

Predominantly beech forest, totaling approximately 218 hectares, with elements of various coniferous and deciduous species. Towards the coast, hilly terrain with fantastic sea views. Many forest roads and three marked hiking trails of two to five kilometers each. There are also good opportunities for walks along the coast. Towards the coastal cliff, there are two primitive tent sites for free use, as well as a campsite that can be booked. There is the possibility to swim, especially at Stenhøj, where a bathing jetty is set up during the summer half of the year, but it quickly gets deep. Several botanical rarities can be seen in the forest, and you can visit the old fortification Stagsevold. A forest belt along the coast is designated as untouched forest.
