Hytten i Lille Hareskov

The campfire hut, also named “Hytten”, was built between 2014-2016 by a number of students from Hareskov Skole in collaboration with a teacher. The hut serves as a permanent base and support point for outdoor school and outdoor education. The project is financially supported by Friluftsrådet, Hareskov Skole, Furesø Kommune, and Naturstyrelsen. Reservation: On weekdays between 8 AM and 4 PM, Hareskov Skole has priority, but inquiries about reservations during this period can be made by contacting Hareskov Skole at phone: 72 35 72 00. Outside of the specified hours, the hut can be used by all forest guests, provided they clean up after themselves and generally treat the hut properly. You may light a campfire at the grill area, and it is permitted to collect firewood (dry branches) from the forest floor.
