Shelter Nord

The outermost part of Trelde Næs, 100 ha, is protected and owned by Fredericia Municipality. There is public access to the beautiful natural area, which contains forest, stunning coastal slopes, and a good bathing beach. The area is connected to a larger privately owned forest area. In the privately owned forests, you may walk and cycle, but only on designated forest roads and paths. Water and (handicap) toilet at the gable end of the farm building by the large parking lot, 300 m from the shelter site. The toilets at the Nature Center are generally open all year round, but may be closed in winter if there is a risk of frost damage. Firewood is available at the farm building in the large parking lot (approx. 50 m up the forest path towards Shelterpaldsen Trelde Syd). It costs 25 DKK, and payment must be made to Mobile Pay no. 953318. Fredericia Municipality’s shelter sites can be booked on Book en shelter.
