The only things you need to bring are your sleeping bag, firewood, and curiosity about nature. Close to the Arla® ØKO shelter, there is a parking lot, and from there, a field leads to the shelter. From the parking lot, it’s approximately 200 meters through a slightly hilly landscape and along a road. Number of shelters: 1. Number of sleeping spaces: 4-(5) people. Drinking water: No. Toilet: No, the nearest toilet is 4 km away (Ørnhøj Kirke), and otherwise, toilet access is 11 km away at Åbildå lignite mine. Fire pit: Yes, but you must bring your own firewood. Tents: No, pitching tents is not allowed. Rules for using the shelter site: Remember to extinguish the fire. Use the waste bin. Keep the shelter site neat and clean. Avoid unnecessary noise. No music is allowed. Animals are welcome, but they must be kept on a leash. Animals must not be fed or scared. Important: You must not have been abroad within the last 48 hours before visiting a farm, as you could bring animal diseases to Denmark.
