About this spot

Hoverdal Plantage – 1,600 hectares – lies as a large forested island in a hilly West Jutland hill island landscape. The soil and humidity vary, contributing to an exciting and diverse forest. Coniferous trees dominate, but there are also a number of deciduous trees in the plantation. Additionally, there are several heath areas, as well as several lakes and moist sections, including along Høbro Bæk. There are several marked walking, running, and cycling routes, as well as camping and shelter sites. Good opportunities to experience red deer and many good mushroom locations. Partially N2000 area.
