About this spot

Moseby Town Park is a sanctuary in the middle of the small village of Moseby. Here you can look for a bouquet of wild flowers, herbs for your meal, or taste one of the park’s many fruits from the fruit trees or bushes. There are apples, pears, and all sorts of berries. In addition to the many plants and bushes, there are raised beds with vegetables and herbs. Throughout the Town Park, gravel paths have been established, making it easy to navigate the area with, for example, a stroller or wheelchair. At the bottom of the Town Park, a dog playground has been established, where you can let your dog run in an enclosed area and play with other dogs. General dog training can be done individually or in groups. By the dog playground, a large campfire hut has been built where you can cook your food over a fire, either under the hut’s roof or at the small campfire site next to the hut. By the town park’s flagpole, there are also power outlets and a tap, so fresh water can always be drawn for dogs and visitors. Firewood is usually ready for use, but otherwise, there is plenty of wood that can be collected from the wooded ground in the dog playground. The park has a number of benches and picnic table sets where one can sit and enjoy the sun and the plants. By the large campfire hut, there is a tiled area with picnic table sets where you can enjoy brought coffee and various accompaniments. Trash bins have been set up in several places in the Town Park. At the upper end of the Town Park, a football field with two 5-a-side goals has been established, so football can be played (ball must be brought). Other ball games, such as rundbold etc., can also be played. Additionally, a krolf course and a trampoline have been installed, providing more opportunities for physical activity. The Town Park was established by Jetsmark Lokalråd in collaboration with the association Moseby Lystanlæg, which handles the daily operation of the site.
