The tent site is very primitive - there are very simple facilities such as a fire pit and a reasonably flat grass area. The grass is mowed 1-2 times annually, so one must expect long grass for parts of the year. The overnight site is open to everyone for both overnight stays and enjoyment around the campfire. Use and stay are free. The site operates on a first-come, first-served basis. There is space for 3-4 small tents at the site. Overnight stays are permitted for two nights. You are welcome to light a fire at existing fire pits. You may gather wood for the fire in the surrounding forest and scrub. Remember to inform yourself about any burning bans. Extinguish the fire thoroughly after you, so that no embers remain, or stay until the fire has completely burned out. The nearest toilet with water is by the parking road at Hammershus Besøgscenter, approx. 200 meters away. It is not permitted to play loud music or create other noise that disturbs animals and other people. Take trash with you when you leave the site. The site is located along Højlyngsstien and is easily accessible for hikers on the trail. Site coordinates: 55.2726, 14.7643.
