Near the shelter site, there are ball courts, Multiborg with exercise and play equipment, a Viking House with a grill, and a covered picnic table set. Aggersund, with its location, serves as the entrance to and exit from Vesthimmerland Municipality. It is also here that you will find Northern Europe’s largest Viking fortress, Aggersborg. Beautiful nature along the Limfjord with fantastic sunrises and sunsets. Aggersund has its own small marina filled with boats. The area also offers good fishing opportunities. There are very good bus connections, making it possible to get to and from the town without problems. And eateries on both sides of the Aggersund Bridge.
