Banehaven i Henne

Address: Villavej/Strandvejen, Henne Stationsby Banehaven was built by the town’s citizens in 2013. It is a small oasis, which in 2015 was also made into a Bicycle Pitstop, with air/water/hangers for visitors. In 2018, a playground with climbing equipment was built in connection with Banehaven. The playground is made of natural materials and beautifully integrates into the forest environment found at the site. Today, you will find a lovely grill hut here, and tables/benches both outdoors and indoors. It is an ideal place to enjoy your packed lunch or picnic basket. In addition, a pétanque court has been established in front of the grill hut towards Strandvejen; however, you must bring your own boules. In front of Banehaven, you can see the winning sculpture from Varde Municipality’s bicycle sculpture competition 2015. The site also features: Tables/benches, Grill hut, Playground, Toilet, Water tap April 1 - October 1 (or when frost arrives), Pétanque court (bring your own boules).
