Banehaven i Henne

Address: Villavej/Strandvejen, Henne Stationsby. Banehaven was built by the town’s citizens in 2013. It is a small oasis, which in 2015 was also converted into a Bicycle Pitstop, with air/water/hangers for visitors. In 2018, a playground with climbing equipment was built in connection with Banehaven. The playground is made of natural materials and blends beautifully into the forest environment found on site. Today, you will find a lovely BBQ hut here, and tables/benches both outdoors and indoors. It is an ideal place to enjoy a packed lunch or coffee basket. Additionally, a pétanque court has been established in front of the BBQ hut towards Strandvejen; however, visitors must bring their own balls. In front of Banehaven, you can see the winning sculpture from Varde Municipality’s bicycle sculpture competition 2015.
