About this spot
Nauståbua, Trondhjems Turistforening’s (TT) smallest cabin, is located at the eastern end of Naustådalsvatnet on the route between Trollheimshytta and Kårvatn. It was set up as an emergency shelter on the long and tough route which, at the end of 1964, claimed three lives. Nauståbua is open and consists of one room with a stove and benches. It is not intended for overnight stays. Emergency shelter only.
