Narjordet

Narjordet is a great old 18th-century house located on the farm Ryen østre at Narjordet. The house was restored and taken into use as a self-service cabin in 1999. By establishing an accommodation offering at Narjordet, DNT could connect a network of routes from Raudsjødalseter over to Hodalen and Narjordet and further to Røros. Available all year round Here you have great hiking opportunities both in winter and summer. Since the cabin is accessible by an all-year road, a stay here can be recommended for families with children and also for those who want a cultural journey in the local area with a visit to the local museum, which is a stone’s throw away. We especially recommend the trip from Narjordet to Røros through lush Bredalsli and over the mountain with views towards Bergstaden. Equipment The cabin has all the equipment you need for cooking and a pleasant stay, such as full kitchenware, dinnerware, and bed linen. In addition, you will find a good selection of food in the provision room. There is no electricity at the cabin, but gas, wood burning, and candles as light sources. Water is fetched from a tap in the yard. Guests are responsible for cooking, fetching water, washing dishes, cleaning floors, and generally tidying the cabin inside and out. The remaining beds will be open for drop-in. Arrive at the cabin before 7:00 PM to secure your reserved bed; after 7:00 PM, the bed may be assigned to others, but your booking is still valid.
