East of Storsølnkletten in Alvdal Vestfjell you will find Korsberghytta. The cabin can be used as part of the round trip to Breisjøseter and Storgrytdalseter or as a good starting point for hikes south in Alvdal Vestfjell. You also have several summit tour opportunities from the cabin. Parts of Korsberghytta can be dated back to the 1800s. The cabin was restored and a safety cabin with four beds was built. Equipment The cabin has all the equipment you need for cooking and a pleasant stay, such as full kitchenware, dinnerware, and bed linen. In addition, you will find a good selection of food in the provision room. There is no electricity at the cabin, but gas, wood burning, and candles as light sources. Water is fetched from the nearest stream/water. Guests are responsible for cooking, fetching water, washing dishes, cleaning floors, and generally tidying the cabin inside and out. Other member associations in DNT may have different prices. Go to price list Pre-booking via hyttebestilling.dnt It has never been easier to book a cabin trip at DNT cabins. Via hyttebestilling.dnt.no you can easily see when the cabin is available, explore cabins on a map, and book a spot. DNT Oslo og Omegn offers a limited number of beds for booking. The remaining beds will be open for drop-in. Arrive at the cabin before 7:00 PM to secure your reserved bed; after 7:00 PM, the bed may be assigned to others, but your booking is still valid. Pay with DNT Hyttebetaling Pay for food with your mobile. With the “DNT Hyttebetaling” app, you can easily pay for food and accommodation at the self-service cabins. The app is available for iOS and Android. The app also works in places without phone and network coverage. Works with debit and credit cards from other countries Payment form You can also pay by filling out a payment form that you will find at the cabin. Upon departure, place the completed payment form in the safe and take your copy. We will then send you an invoice, but please note that a fee of NOK 50,- will be charged for using a payment form. Remember to fill in the correct price for accommodation based on age and member/non-member status, and all food you have taken. For your information, it is no longer possible to pay with cash at the self-service cabins. Dog Dogs are not permitted in the main cabin. The safety cabin is adapted for dogs with 2 kennels in a heated common room. Remember to bring your own mat for your dog. Bring a mat for the dog if necessary, do not use the cabin’s bed linen or blankets. Wild Reindeer The cabin is located in one of Norway’s 24 wild reindeer areas.
