Steinkorshytta - dagsturhytte i Sunnfjord kommune

Sunnfjord kommune has four day-trip cabins. Steinkorshytta is one of them. Steinkorshytta is located at approximately 700 meters above sea level, a little below the mountain peak Steinkorsen. The hike is moderately demanding and takes 40-60 minutes depending on your pace. The hike starts at the Kringla farm, about 3 km west of Naustdal town center. It is located at approx. 300 meters above sea level. The day-trip cabin is a low-threshold offer for hikers - a place to eat their packed lunch, get a bit of warmth, and browse books. Each cabin has a Nynorsk hiking library with many different books. The project is a collaboration between Sogn og Fjordane fylkeskommune, Sparebankstiftinga / Sparebanken Sogn og Fjordane, and the municipalities themselves. Read more: Website dagsturhytta.no.
