Experience the panoramic view from Havblikk – the day-trip cabin in Farsund municipality! The day-trip cabin Havblikk is beautifully situated at Kirkeskaret on Sønderhallsheia between Lomsesanden and Loshavn. From the cabin, you can experience great views of Farsund’s archipelago and the Lista beaches. You can see all the way to Lindesnes lighthouse and over vast ocean areas, hence the cabin’s name. The coastal path goes right past the cabin and further west towards Einarsneset - one of the municipality’s most attractive hiking areas. Lista is often sunny and windy, but inside the cabin, you have a beautiful view regardless of whether there’s a gale blowing or it’s perfectly calm. The area around the cabin is nicely prepared with benches, a campfire site, and inviting areas for a break. There are good opportunities to hang a hammock near the cabin. Havblikk is a day-trip destination where you can take a break, eat your packed lunch, get some warmth, meet others, experience the surrounding nature, and perhaps browse a book. The cabin is 25 m2 and has both a library and a wood stove. Bring your own firewood if you want to light a fire. There is also a solar power system with lighting for use when it gets dark. The cabin is only intended for day visits, and any overnight stays must take place in a tent or hammock outside. Access to the cabin is wheelchair accessible, but some sections have a fair amount of ascent. In addition to being a hiking destination itself, the cabin’s library provides a hiking experience beyond the usual. Here you will find books on nature, local history, fairy tales, etc. The books are intended for reading on site and cannot be borrowed to take home. The hiking library is a collaboration between Agder county library and the public library in each municipality. Havblikk is part of the Dagsturhytta Agder concept – a collaborative project between all municipalities in Agder, Sparebankstiftelsen SR-Bank, and Agder county municipality. During 2024, you will find an attractive and similar type of day-trip cabin in each of the 25 municipalities in the county. Access to the cabin Main access to Havblikk is via a path from the parking lot at the exit from FV4096 to FV4098 towards Loshavn. It is also possible to reach the cabin via the trail network from Loshavn and from Lomsesanden. English Welcome to the daytrip cabin. Here you can experience the beautiful natural surroundings, seek shelter, warm yourself up, eat your packed lunch and perhaps meet other people. The cabin is open all year and is free to use. The cabin is intended for day visits, and you cannot stay overnight inside. You are nonetheless welcome to spend the night in the surrounding area.
