Ørnareiret - Dagsturhytta i Stavanger kommune

Welcome to Ørnareiret, 165 meters above sea level on beautiful Fogn. The distance is five kilometers round trip. The day-trip cabin Ørnareiret is located 165 meters above sea level. The hike starts at Fogn kai, follow the markings to the shop. Here you cross a stile and start the hike in the terrain. It is rugged terrain over grazing land; be aware of staying on the path. When you reach the road at Høgaste, cross the road and go over a stile into the terrain. Follow markings through the grazing landscape. On the last ascent towards Ørnakulå, there is a short section with some scrambling; here, ropes have been installed for you to hold onto. It is also possible to take a round trip via the “Robin Hood forest”. The shortest hiking alternative is from Erås. Here you start from the parking lot and follow the markings. All hiking trails on Fogn are marked with blue posts; trail junctions are marked with signs.
