Snåsamostua

Simple cabin in a mountain pasture landscape in Mellingen state common land. Central location for access to outdoor activities, as well as small game and big game hunting grounds. Summer car road all the way. Separate house for drying clothes, etc. Snåsamostua appears as a simple, yet pleasant cabin situated in idyllic surroundings. Distance to Børgefjell National Park border is approx. 3.5 km; the easiest access to the national park is to follow the trail north to Litlsteinådalen. Distance to Namsen is approx. 150 meters. Excellent starting point for simple cabin life, outdoor activities, small game, and moose hunting. There is a summer car road all the way to the steps, but reduced width and axle load on the bridge over Namsen mean that caravans cannot access it.
