Frøne

Frøne is the perfect cabin for families with children – here one can sleep in the nice sleeping alcoves or try a night out in a hammock, have story time by the fire pit, bake buns in the wood stove, go on an “expedition” to Frønesjøen, rent a rowboat, collect checkpoint stamps on SjekkUT – the possibilities are many. Location Frøne croft is located in Rakkestad municipality, close to an already developed trail network in Fjella that is well cleared, marked, and signposted by DNT Indre Østfold and our partners in Marker O-lag and Flaggtreff. This makes the croft extra attractive for those who use Fjella as a hiking area and who wish to go from cabin to cabin. Rooms On the first floor of Frøne, there is a living room with a kitchen, with seating for 14 people. As well as a bedroom with a single bed and a family bed (a family bed is a bunk bed with two sleeping spaces below, and one in the upper bunk). Here, beds are made for up to 4 people.
