About this spot

Adlesi - which in dialect means the cabin is “everyone’s” - is located on Loddo. A popular hiking area in Austevoll. You are heartily welcome here for a hike! Drone video Adlesi. The cabin has a small wood stove, a library with Nynorsk children’s books, and benches inside and out. It’s nice to eat your packed lunch and take a break at the day-trip cabin. Overnight stays are not permitted. Leave the cabin as you yourself wish to find it, clean and tidy. Take your rubbish, bottles, etc. home. Contact Austevoll municipality with questions and feedback about the cabin. Trail description to the cabin: The trail starts at the parking lot in Åno, where you follow the gravel road for 1 km until the trail divides into three. Red trail: turn left at the junction and follow the gravel road. After about 500 m, continue on a steep forest path. 200 m from the summit of Loddo, turn left and walk 100 m to the day-trip cabin. Orange trail: turn left at the junction and follow the gravel road for about 200 m before turning left on the slope. Follow the forest path to the wooden stairs towards the summit. 150 m from the summit, turn right down the red trail where you will find the day-trip cabin on the right side of the path. White trail: turn right at the junction and follow the white trail to Loddo. From the summit, walk down the red trail for about 200 m and turn right where the cabin is located.
