Gjestgiveriet

Gjestgiveriet is an open, simple log cabin with bunks for 5-6 people. There are no mattresses on site. It is a cabin with war history. In the area, drops were received from England during the war, and there was a radio station here. The cabin is well hidden in the terrain, but that did not prevent the Germans from finding it and surprising those who were there. Dramatic clashes occurred. The cabin was burned down by the Germans but rebuilt as a faithful replica in the 1990s, as a memorial to the dramatic events. Both inside and outside the wall are drop containers from the war days. There is a marked trail to the cabin, which is located approximately 1 km west of Finnskogleden. Marked trail to a cold spring. The cabin is not suitable for winter use.
