About this spot
The famous spot at the “Kilometer 25” checkpoint. Dakhla parking area in the middle of the desert, kitesurfing. 20 kilometers from Dakhla. The restaurant is closed, but Yussuf lives there, collects trash, and gets bread for lunch. A great spot—for those who are completely self-sufficient (!)—to stay for days or months. Many long-term campers. No parking rules. Total peace and quiet in the evenings despite the numerous campers. Many trash containers: very clean.
