A first barrier is sometimes open, allowing for ticket checks, followed by a second barrier that opens automatically upon entering the parking area. Normally, parking is limited to 24 hours. Numerous free services are available: one working electrical outlet with a switch, two push-button fresh water taps with adequate flow, and grey and black water disposal points in the same location. The port environment is quite noisy, so earplugs are recommended. There is a CCTV camera on site. The parking area is flat and offers no shade. Water and electricity are temporarily closed in winter.
