About this spot
Boulevard de la Provence (just after the single-lane bridge) coming from Amélie-les-bains-Palalda 66, take direction Belpuig and Boultèrenère 66 on the D53 then the D618. Just after the bridge, on the side of the road, there’s still a passage, offering an extraordinarily sublime view if you like dreamy scenery (see photos). You can walk on the banks of the small river or continue your escapade on the mountain roads to Boultèrenère. You will cross a small village called Belpuig where you will find a superb little church that I advise you to visit (be careful, the doors close at 6 p.m.). Then continue your journey to the superb Lake Vinça via Boultèrenère (about 5 km between the 2 villages), where you can rest in the Vinça car park (see Lake Vinça on the site) to enjoy a good swim on the free beach the next day.
