About this spot
Lac de Cavayere (5 km from the Cité de Carcassonne) - a very good, peaceful spot with a nice view of the lake. At this season, we were the only van. Just a little warning: this place is a hotspot for morning sportsmen, so the parking lot fills up quickly on mornings of days off, which can prevent leaving, depending on its direction of parking. Apart from this practical detail, a very good place to share.
