Mammen Bypark

Between Mammen Fri and the fields lies the public area Mammen Bypark. It was inaugurated in March 2011. A large and exciting nature playground from Nikostine in Viborg offers challenges for all ages. The large campfire hut has a big fire pit in the middle and benches all the way around the interior. It can be freely used by everyone all year round. 3 large shelters can be freely used by anyone who fancies an overnight stay. There are also several picnic tables that can be moved around the city park. During Mammen Fri’s opening hours, water can be fetched and toilets can be used there. Outside opening hours, visitors are referred to Mammen Kirke’s sexton’s building, which has 24-hour access to toilet and water. Many of the town’s events are held here if the weather is good, e.g., Midsummer’s Eve.
