Søsport Vilsund Shelter Plads

If you like life, water, and charm, then this shelter site is absolutely perfect. The shelters are supported by Friluftsrådet’s fund, Udlodningsmidler til Friluftsliv. It is located by Søsport klubben Vilsund, so if you’re into water sports, we have all the facilities ready for you. Our neighbor is the harbor, and about 200 m from us, there is an OK petrol station where you can also get some selected food and drinks. We have a toilet and shower; showering can be done both indoors and outdoors. Nothing is heated but full of charm even in cold weather. If you want to barbecue or cook over an open fire, this is also an option; however, you must bring your own charcoal for the grill and firewood for the campfire. The grill is located outside the shelter site, specifically by the Cold Hawaii building. In addition, Vilsund offers a swimming beach on the other side of the harbor and beautiful nature in the area. Furthermore, we can look forward to Rema1000 opening approximately 350 m away, in April 2023.
